Happy but Unlucky

1. Great lunch with Wifey at Ikea on Thursday afternoon, Swedish meatballs and chicken wings.

2. The movie, The Hangover was awesome & super hilarious. Please go catch it if you already haven't!

3. Take home dinner & movie night with Dear that night was sweet.

4. Mother's home cooked dinner before heading for a mini midnight grill on Friday at Dear's friend's cozy house. Men do make great cooks! Marinated pork & lettuce wraps, beef sandwiches & grilled chicken plus the movie, Four Brothers.

5. Got to bed only at 6 in the morning. Not seeing the sun when he woke up on a Saturday evening made him feel sluggish.

6. Super expensive Chomp Pang nasi lemak for dinner. A parking fine that caused him 3 Demerit points + $120 fine after parking on a single zig zag line.

7. While waiting to meet JayJay in the West, we decided to drive to Jurong Point for a movie. Took a wrong turn & almost got lost along the way.

8. The movie we wanted to watch was screening only 2 hours later. Drove all the way to Jurong & left with an O'cha honey lemon tea & no movie.

9. After burning so much petrol, we ended up back at Woodlands feeling sleepy.

10. Mother forgot her keys so we rushed back to Sengkang, not meeting JayJay in the end.

11. It was a quiet drive back home till we almost got into an accident. Some stupid truck was probably driving too fast on the expressway and dropped a dangerously huge object (think it was a chest of drawers) in the middle on the lane. Our car made a sudden swerve, so close it was horrifying.

12. Got home still feeling a little uneasy & moody because the night didn't end the way I wanted to. When women says "nothing", it means there's always 'something', but men will never figure that out.

13. Just had brunch with parents and I'm back home with a snail-moving internet. I've also realized there's something wrong with my Twitter text updates. Grrr.

Girls tend to do this more than guys- Rant on and on about everything they're unhappy about. At the end of all of it, I've realized that if we learn to look at a negative incident a positive way, we learn through our mistakes & live a happier life, brooding over something won't help solve anything.

The most important relationship you have in your life, is the relationship you have with yourself.
